1. To promote cooperation amongst the members, to encourage and protect the interest of Members engaged in providing Environmental Auditing Services in the area of Environment.
2. To promote training,diffusion of knowledge relating to standards, processes, techniques, best practices or methods in the Environmental Auditing Business, or the connected trade therewith or with allied industries related to Engineering, Consultancy services in the field of Environment.
3. To strive for rendering best standards, highest quality and ethical business values to the satisfaction of members from the trade and industry.
4. To represent the views of members on any matter affecting or likely to affect Environmental Auditing Services to Gujarat Pollution Control Board, Government of India, State Government, Local Authorities, Foreign Government, Municipalities, National And International Institutions, Industry Bodies, Semi-Autonomous bodies, Autonomous bodies, statutory authorities, Committees, Commission or such other bodies or authorities.
5. To improve upon and to suggest the Auditing specifications, standards, procedure or use of laboratory consumables or other related matters connected with the business of carrying out Environmental Audit Services in context to the Environmental Audit Scheme laid by the Honorable High Court of Gujarat., to the concerned authorities, corporation, laboratories, association or such other bodies established under the law or otherwise and to alleviate the grievances of the Environmental Auditors.
6. To promote cooperation between or cooperate with any other organized body or bodies whatsoever, by appointing members of the Association and others to represent the Association on any such body or bodies, to promote, support any other organized body for the furtherance of any of the objects contained herein.
7. To promote and encourage improvements amongst Environmental Auditors for greater efficiency.
8. To organise seminars, workshops, symposium and exhibitions to impart useful knowledge to the Environmental Auditor fraternity.
9. To assist, arrange, aid and/or organize delegations to be sent to all parts of India and World for participating, consulting, with national and international delegations, exchange programs of business and to share trade data, statistics, and other information. To conduct programs, exhibition ,conference, seminars including acting as nodal agency for organizing delegation or otherwise arranging such national and international exchange programs exhibition, conference, seminars in India and Overseas.
10. To establish, run and maintain a library connected with the Environmental Auditing Services.
11. To print and publish periodicals, brochures relating to Environmental Auditing Services for enhancing knowledge and technology.
12. To promote the setting up of regional chapters to further the objectives of the Association.
13. To enhance the contribution of Environmental Auditing industry to the growth and development of the Indian National economy in a Sustainable Environment and to encourage members to be progressive.
14. To publish a directory of members and maintain data base with details of services being offered by the Environmental Auditors in their respective fields of Environment
15. To co-operate, join or participate or associate or enter into any arrangement with Gujarat Pollution Control Board, Central Pollution Control Board, Ministry of Environment and Forests, Central Government, State Government, Local Authorities, Foreign Government, Chambers of Commerce whether local or foreign, Industries Associations other societies, institutions, associations and organizations whether foreign or local in the pursuit of all or any of the above object or objects or objects similar or akin to any of the above objects.
16. The income and property of the Association, whatsoever derived shall be solely utilized towards the promotion of the objectives of the Association and no portion thereof shall be paid or transferred directly or indirectly by way of dividend, gifts, division, bonus or otherwise by way of profit to the members of the Association.
17. The Secretary of the Association, in addition to filling of this Memorandum of Association and Rules and Regulations, is authorized to correspond with and to receive from the Registrar of Societies documents relating to the affairs of the Association and to comply the provisions of Gujarat Societies Registration Act and the Rules thereunder.
18. To do or cause to be done all such other lawful things and to perform all such acts as may be incidental, proper, conducive or necessary for the attainment of any or all of the above objects.
